Bamboo is a type of rayon that is made from the pulp of bamboo grass. It is harvested naturally, without the use of pesticides, and is a sustainable fabric as the trees regenerate in 55 days. Once it is reduced to a yarn and spun into fabric, it’s used to make super light, cool-to-touch clothing! It’s not only thermal regulating, but rayon from bamboo is also hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial thanks to a special property in bamboo called bamboo-kun which stops the spread of some bacteria making the fabric more hygienic and fresher smelling. This fabric is also easy to care for, machine washable and very durable. 🌎💚
